This is the first time I've been able to sit down since Christmas dinner at my grandparents house. To say the holidays are exhausting is quite an understatement - and now I have to find something to do for New Year's Eve so Lily doesn't complain about me sitting at home alone with the cat. Honestly, what's wrong with that?
Anyway, hope everyone's holidays were splendid and joyous and wonderful and everything else.

I think a rogue pixie got caught in our heater or something, Flourish & Blotts has been like walking into an igloo for a week now. I'm considering going to Mum and Dad's a few days early just to stay somewhere that's warm, but that would mean leaving the shop alone and I am far too invested to do that. Guess I need to find a better coat, then.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love decorating for the holidays? I've been more productive on my day off today than I have in weeks; I managed to put up the tree and and hang some garland around the living room. Maybe I'll put some lights up in the door frames, or some holly. And some candles, I need to find where I stored all of them from last winter. Lil's been sleeping most of the day, so I guess she can have her say in the decor when/if she wakes up.
Speaking of the holidays, what does everyone want for Christmas?
